Joe Cameron served as a police officer in Southern California for 11+ years, holding roles as a patrol officer, field training officer, school resource officer, narcotics detective, and SWAT Team Leader. He was deeply involved in police union leadership, serving on the El Segundo POA Board of Directors for a decade, including seven years as President. Building on his extensive law enforcement experience, Joe transitioned into public safety political advocacy, working with over 40 law enforcement organizations nationwide. As the CEO and President of Modern Fortis, he leads cutting-edge governmental affairs strategies that leverage technology to drive policy and public safety advancements nationwide. His expertise spans local, state, and federal legislative processes, shaping bipartisan solutions that protect both officers and communities.
Joe holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Plymouth State University, a Master’s in Public Administration from National University, and a Master’s in Political Management from George Washington University.

Braden Frame
Chief Operating Officer
Braden manages technology, deployments, and campaign operations for the Modern Cartographers. Braden, who specializes in digital strategy, messaging, brand building, and crisis communications, leads our online, web, and social media teams. Since 2019, Braden has worked for the International Association of Fire Fighters as the only Digital Campaigns Specialist in the Strategic Campaigns division of the Political and Governmental Affairs department. This work has uniquely positioned him to manage thousands of ad campaigns across two nations in widely varying political climates.
He is a communications and digital media educator with the IAFF and TSAFF, a medically retired professional firefighter/paramedic, and former EMS educator. Braden is the immediate past president of his home local, the Lake Travis Fire Fighters, where he served a total of eight years on the executive board, four years as President.
